Privacy policy
This page explains what personal data we collect when you use captaincluck.co.uk, why we collect it, and your rights over it.
Who we are
Captain Cluck is a trading name of CRISPY BREADING LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16081574). Our registered office is 4a South Road, Waterloo, Liverpool, L22 5PQ.
We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website. For any privacy question or request, email [PRIVACY CONTACT EMAIL] or call 0151 559 0764.
What we collect
This website has no accounts, forms or online payments, so we do not ask you for your name, email address or payment details here.
When you visit, some technical information is processed automatically so the site can load and stay secure:
- Server logs. Our web host records standard request details such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These are used to run and protect the site.
- Security and performance. The site is served through Cloudflare, which processes your IP address and request details to deliver pages quickly and block malicious traffic. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie.
- Fonts. Our typefaces load from Google Fonts, which means your browser sends your IP address to Google when the page loads.
Cookies
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The only cookie that may be set is Cloudflare's strictly necessary security cookie, which does not require consent. If we add analytics in future, we will ask for your consent first and update this page.
Ordering and links to other sites
If you order through a delivery platform, visit our Instagram, or follow a link to The Boba Lab's website, you leave this website. Those services have their own privacy policies, and they control the data you give them. If you phone us to order, we only use your details to prepare and hand over your order.
Why we are allowed to use this data
We process technical data on the basis of our legitimate interests in running a secure, working website. Where we use analytics cookies, we rely on your consent.
How long we keep it
Server logs and security records are kept only for as long as our hosting and security providers need them to operate and protect the service, after which they are deleted by those providers.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time. To make a request, contact us using the details above. We will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
We will update this page if the way we handle data changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
